We weren't very far into the ride this morning when a red Kawasaki came blazing past me. I looked to my left, expecting to see JD, and then I saw the ponytail... It was our Canadian friend, Mike. Noel listens and grins as Mike explains how he spent the night at a fleabag hotel and bribed his way past the Costa Rican customs officials at the crack of dawn.
