Gringos Cause Trouble In Town...

Jene, JD, and I went to the central plaza in La Union to look for a car wash and some El Salvador stickers for our motorcycles. Most of the folks were friendly toward the visitors from outer space (thats how we must look to them), except for the local crack dealer who wasn´t happy when we told him to get lost. When this guy continued to harass us, another local stepped in and took matters into his own hands (literally) by punching the daylights out of the crack dealer. We thought we had seen the last of this fool, but a few minutes later, he reemerged with a scarf covering his face and a nail in his hand coming right toward us. When he realized that we were ready to take him on three against one, he ran off into the crowd. We decided we had enough excitement for the day and left.

I really respect this good local.
He is courageous and wants to help others. He also knows his capacity. He certainly knew he could defeat the crack guy.
